Recently, we wrote about why we think you should get a remote job. We went over some of the many benefits of working remotely including increased productivity, less stress, and increased savings. Also, we went over tips on how to land a remote job with minimal effort. In the last part of the remote job series, we want to help our readers secure the best job using the greatest platforms out there.

We would like to present to you the following list of platforms and job boards you can use to successfully find remote jobs.

We Work Remotely

This is a great job board that allows users to browse using various filters without any restrictions. You are allowed to search by title or skill and find suitable opportunities for yourself. An excellent feature is that there is no application fee and the website is easy to navigate. A con of using We Work Remotely is that sometimes applications receive delayed responses.

FlexJobs

When it comes to remote and freelance jobs, FlexJobs is the MVP. With over 35,000 job postings from over 5000 companies, their goal is to provide a job that fits into the person’s life and not a life that fits into a job. If you are serious about landing a job, it might be worth it to pay $15 dollars and make use of their services. Unlike most remote job boards that only cater to specific industries, FlexJobs offers jobs for different industries and the job posters are known to be quite active.

Remote.co

When it comes to providing great educational value, remote.co is the best place to visit. They run under FlexJobs and they offer free resources for people to learn about remote jobs. Remote.co helps companies hire, train, and manage remote employees. They have a helpful blog, Q&As for employees and employers, and job listings.

Upwork

Upwork mainly focuses on freelance work. Companies usually post freelance vacancies that are either flexible or part-time. If you have extra time after work or university, Upwork is the place to earn extra money. The only catch is that Upwork charges a service fee which is based on how the client is billed.

Just Remote

MoneyBite would rate Just Remote as the most dynamic platform when it comes to finding jobs over various industries. You can find fully (or partially) remote positions across a wide range of functionalities including—design, development, writing, customer service, business, editing, marketing, HR, project management, recruiting, sales, SEO, social media and more.

You can also find jobs all over the world and use their paid service for $12 a month to tap into high quality remote job listings.
